April 2009 Newsletter                                     

I have just been informed that my husband and I due to go for a Hot Air Balloon Ride up over the beautiful Canterbury Plains tomorrow morning, so weather permitting this will be a happening thing.  Our son bought us tickets some time back and we have finally got around to making this happen..yippee..I will post a photo into our next newsletter to share our views with you, if it has happened by then.

22 March  Mother’s Day – U.K.  Just a reminder that you can contact www.hamper.com to place an order.
10 – 13 April Easter Weekend – Just a reminder that any orders for the North Island, will need to be on their way from our depot by Monday 6th April, to ensure delivery for Easter.  These are now up on our website, so do check them out, and remember that if we haven’t got quite what you are looking for, please don’t hesitate to ask.  Click Here for Easter Gifts
25 April  ANZAC Day  NZ  This falls on a Saturday, however there will be no delivery on this day. (We can still offer delivery service in the Christchurch area though.)
10 May  Mother’s Day NZ  Our gifts for them are on their way and will be to our website by the end of this month.

New Product Lines
We have extended our Jewellery range to include Earrings and Bracelets now, and we are looking to bring in some more new lines, so make sure that you check this out.  You can buy sets of necklace and earrings, or necklace and bracelets.  As these are one-off designer lines, once they are sold they will be replaced with new stock.  We are also looking at some other new lines, so keep this bookmarked and check back next month.
Our chocolate products included in the “Thank you” gifts are proving a popular choice for customers.

Hospital Gifts
It has recently been brought to our attention, that there are a number of Hospital Wards where they will not permit flowers especially in the Public Hospital.  This can be for a number of reasons – heart patients may find it difficult to breathe, childrens’ ward, where they can tip over or be in the way for emergency treatment.  We are more than happy to create a gift – such as for a child – with a magazine, or puzzle and other special items that can help to pass the hospital time.  Just give us a call, or send an email, and we will do our very best to find something special.
